The perfect little 30 room boutique hotel by the sea. I had a generous room with a huge terrace. Recommended for an escape if you want a hideout without the buzz of a village and lots of tourists. Cream tea came warm and delicious! Food & drinks: Lovely restaurant with sea view.

Had a great few days relaxing in St. Mawes at the Tresanton. Great friendly service. Excellent warm and cosy rooms. The objects and art in the hotel are great. Wonderful view from the room. Only the evening meal was not as exceptional as everything else. Will definitely be back.

This is my second stay at Hotel Tresanton and is fast becoming my favourite hotel. Olga Polizzi definitely knows what makes a hotel - there is nothing to criticise, it has the whole package. Traditional, yet timeless but still has a modern feel about it. The food is delicious, the views from the outside terrace are stunning in all weather and the location within St Mawes village is perfect. If you enjoy Tresanton, pay a visit to Hotel Endsleigh (the sister hotel) which is equally as beautiful.

Fabulous lunch at Tresanton. A favourite of ours in our home vicinity. Wonderful food, service and views. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and the staff were really amazing. They gave us a complimentary glass of fizz each too. Food & drinks: Excellent food, and while its not inexpensive, it was good value for what we had.

Fantastic location, staff and service, A* all around. We had our dogs with us and they where so dog friendly, home made biscuits where devine, highly recommend.

Our son and daughter in law took us out for a meal on Monday evening. We are locals and have eaten before at the hotel and recommended it to others. Our family are visiting We were looking forward to the evening. However we won't be going again to eat in the restaurant. The one positive was my meal was delicious both starter and main course. My husband and daughter in law were served a dish of Gnocchi after ordering Ravioli. When questioned the waiter said they had run out of Ravioli and this dish was similar! We had not been informed of the lack of Ravioli. We were not offered an alternative. Perhaps they thought we wouldn't notice the difference! My husband refused the Gnocchi just as well as it was tasteless. He seemed to cause consternation when he asked for the chicken dish as a replacement The chicken dish was obviously hastily put together and not the same as my son's dish. By now my son and I had eaten our main courses. We had also ordered seasonal vegetables which never appeared. My son asked for a glass of Port to accompany the cheeseboard and was given the dessert wine menu to choose from as Port seemed to be unavailable until he asked for the drinks menu and amazingly there was a choice of Port. It is a good job I did not want a dessert because there was only one Panna Cotta left which my daughter in law had. We were given a discount but that does not make up for the comedy of errors. Maybe hotel residents get a better experience. I sincerely hope so.

100% Customer focused. Dropped off luggage for an important customer and the staff made me feel so welcome and just as valuable as a guest. 1st class service by everyone. Really outstanding location and superb quality. Location is unparalleled to any.. Thank you so much for the experience of this amazing hotel.

Attended a wedding here and stayed for two nights, fantastic hotel. The service is exceptional, staff all lovely, the food and drinks all fabulous, the setting and views incredible. Probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had too. If you get the chance to go, go!
