Portscatho Holiday Cottages have a team of extremely accommodating and helpful staff. We've booked with them a couple of times now and have never had any issues at all. The accommodation they are able to offer is very good, from those we have experienced , they offer a selection of dog friendly properties which is key for us. We stayed at Rosemary Cottage this time which was perfect for us and our dogs. Portscatho's website is nice, clean and easy to navigate to find what you are looking for. Highly recommend this company for your Cornwall holidays

We had a brilliant week at Mariners with our two teenagers and labradoodle. The booking process was easy and communication prior to our arrival was efficient and clear. The property was spotless, very up together, boasting a great location with sea views right in the heart of the town. Good sized master bedroom with en-suite and large kitchen which was well appointed with everything we needed. The house looked like it had been recently refurbished/decorated and felt like a home from home with some nice furnishings and welcome touches like a new dog bed! The only negative was very little outdoor space which we knew about but might be an issue for some guests in the summer. The ideal property for a short autumn escape and good value for St Mawes.

What a truly amazing holiday home! Restored to the highest of specs, it’s really spacious, immaculate and equipped with absolutely everything you could need and more. Situated in a fantastic location (even with the long climb back up the hill, which certainly kept us fit) with ample parking and views to totally die for (I could have sat all day on the balcony watching the world go by). We needed a house with some outdoor space for the dogs and this certainly gave us this. A really lovely large enclosed private sunny garden, with lots of seating making a family bbq an absolute must.
We really loved Saint Mawes and the surrounding area and will definitely be back, especially if we get to stay at 2 Seaside Views again.
Many, many thanks

We have just returned from a fabulous week at The Old Dairy in St Mawes. It was so wonderful that we have already booked again for next year. Everything about the Old Dairy is great. The place is really spacious, the kitchen was brilliantly equipped, the beds really comfortable and there are two terraces which are quite beautiful, full of flowers and herbs, but hardly mentioned in the details. And, it is less than a minute's walk from the sea! We can't wait to return - thank you for a memorable holiday.

The location of the property was excellent - right across the road from the beach. There was a parking space which is worth a lot in St Mawes. We were also not up a steep slope so access to the rest of the village was easy. While being withing a few minutes from the centre it was a quiet location. The interior was bright and looked newly done up. The beds were very comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was newly fitted. The downstairs had an older suite but was clean and well kept. The sitting room had a magnificent view over the sea and across to Falmouth in the far distance. The kitchen was very well appointed. Everything worked well. I will definitely be back one day.

Wonderfully eclectic house with stacks of character on the harbour seafront in St. Mawes. Portscatho Holiday Cottages were really helpful. Checked the door code for us whilst we were in transit as we knew we'd arrive late. Changed light bulbs that weren't working straight away. The house has brilliant views over the estuary to St. Antony's Head. The garden goes on for ages and is great for dining out under the starts or relaxing on a hammock. We loved staying in this house and loved staying in St. Mawes.

My husband and I spent two weeks in this delightful little cottage at the end of June. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the cottage to be very cosy and comfortable. Although the kitchen was small, it was fantastic! Brand new, and every modern appliance present. We were even able to sit at the little table to eat in there! Our daughter joined us for two days, staying in the pretty spare bedroom, and also loved the place. It's proximity to the village is a real advantage, as is the parking spot. We appreciated the interior decor, and furnishings which had obviously been recently upgraded and are of a very high standard. The only thing Fuscia Cottage doesn't have is a view and a garden, but it's so close to the harbour that it didn't worry us at all. I would definitely recommend it.

Buckingham Cottage is ideally placed in St Mawes , moments from the sea front, enjoying some sea views from rear windows and convenient for shops and restaurants. Despite being right in the centre of town the cottage is very quiet and peaceful through the night time. The cottage is very well equipped and everything just worked first time, you are not lacking anything.
The cottage was very clean with good quality fresh bedding and towels provided.
For two or three people it's perfect but a larger group may find the single bathroom and toilet a restriction. I would certainly stay here again.

Fairview was a fabulous place that worked well for our group of 2 parties. The upstairs room and shower room worked brilliantly for our two teens, and ample bathrooms made the arrival back from the beach really easy. The house is beautifully decorated. St Just is a beautiful place and our daily walks to the church or beach was simply charming. Close to St Mawes that catered for our needs and lovely beaches nearby. A welcome pack would have made it completely perfect!!

Booking with Portscatho was easy and efficient. Helpful, contactable staff.
Our three generational group had a fabulous week staying at Boswedden. We appreciated the space, the location, the games rooms. The house is well equipped and spacious and was spotlessly clean. The property has spectacular views over the river and the boats. It was great to be able to take our dog with us (although she managed to escape into next doors garden through a hole in fence by washing line). St Mawes is beautiful and facilities there are now starting to reopen. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already rebooked for next year! 😊 Thank you so much for facilitating a memory packed week.
