Best day out fishing I have been on, top class crew and equipment.

We had the most amazing time with zephyr charters today. Completely surpassed our expectations. On our sea safari we saw several pods of dolphins: common and bottle nose. Also saw tuna going crazy in the water and then a fin whale! Bucket list achievements. The kids had such a great time too. Thank you so much for a brilliant trip out of st mawes.

Such a fantastic experience. Couldn't recommend it enough. And dinner to take home thanks to our amazing captain who helped us in our quest for fish, fun and facts!! Thanks Lewis, you're a gem!!

We booked a half day out with Lewis (and Zephyr the dog, star of the show) out of St Mawes. Lewis was helpful and friendly from the start and tried so hard to get us onto some fish. We headed out a little bit to start with but the sea was pretty rough and soon a couple of us were not feeling great - so we spent most of the time in the river channel and it was a very pleasant experience. Lewis helped those of us who were novices with a rod. In the end I left my coat on the boat and Lewis went above and beyond to get it back to me. We’d all highly recommend a trip out with Lewis and Zephyr.

Had the most awesome fishing trip out with Zephyr Charters yesterday. They were passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging, knew exactly where the best fishing spots and wrecks were. We had guys of all ages and abilities, and Lewis was amazing with us all. Great value, amazing experience, and even a pod of dolphins! Can’t wait for the next adventure, would highly recommend!

We went out with Lewis the other day, and I just wanted to pass on our thanks - If you're looking for something to do on the south coast of Cornwall, I'd certainly recommend heading to St Mawes for a day on the water. We called him relatively last minute, a couple of days ahead, once we had figured out when the good weather was. Not knowing anything about fishing, he helped us set up the kit, and was generous with his time and advice, taking photos of guys with their hauls too. Other local fisherman pulled up and they directed each other to where the good spots were on the day, which was encouraging to see. What a great way to see the area, try something new and chill out with a couple of beers. It was a great and memorable day, thanks Lewis.

Lewis is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate local skipper. The Boat is very well maintained and has all the latest kit including rods, reels and tackle. Lewis will take the time to really explain and guide you through the fishing as your doing it regardless of your experience. I’d definitely recommend Zephyr and will be booking another trip soon!

We had eight of us for a full day charter with Lewis on Zephyr. Difficult conditions first thing with the wind. Within an hour Lewis had us on the fish and the day just got better. No problems, no stress. Nothing but laughs and enjoyment. If Lewis has availability, do it!
