Wow. I don't think the pictures do this place justice, it must have one of the most beautiful views on the Roseland Peninsula! We recently stayed in the Cormorant room and couldn't believe our luck really, the room is cosy and luxurious with lots of great touches such as a separate lobby to make tees and coffees, a fridge, a picnic blanket and loccitaine bathroom products, not to mention mouthwatering cakes made daily by Lucy who is a wonderful and warm host. I can't wait to come again.

We stayed at Hir Kemmyns in the gorgeous Oystercatcher room for 3 nights immediately after Christmas for a birthday treat - and what a treat it has been! Lucy and Nigel have created the most wonderful B&B haven in their stunning home. Our spacious ground floor room was immaculately clean and beautifully presented with modern oak furniture and lovely bedding & fabrics. Sitting up in the comfortable superking size bed with a morning cuppa, there are amazing views through the wide bifold doors over the lush garden to St Mawes harbour and St Anthony Headland. Thoughtful touches such as a picnic blanket and beach towels, Lucy's scrumptious home made cakes and a very generous hospitality cupboard are just a few of the things that make this place really very special. A delightful continental breakfast featuring home made bread and preserves, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals is served upstairs at a large table where the views are even more impressive. On a practical note in these crazy pandemic times, sensible measures were in place and everything felt very covid safe and secure. We definitely plan to return and add our names the list of other repeat guests who cannot believe their luck at finding such a wonderful place to stay and such lovely hosts. We cannot recommend this amazing Sawday's B&B more highly!

We stayed here for 2 nights (23-24 May) in Oystercatcher, and it was favourite place/stay in our 10 night road trip around Devon and Cornwall. 2 nights felt like a week it was that relaxing. Lucy was the perfect host, so helpful with our booking and follow up communications. A fantastic continental breakfast, the homemade bread, cakes and jams were out of this world. The room was fabulous, very comfy super king bed and top notch furnishings, perfect attention to detail in every way helpful room guide and spotlessly clean. The view from the bed and patio was fantastic, seeing the boats come and go, so peaceful and tranquil and the weather was fab too. St. Mawes is lovely and Lucy gave up top tips, Mr Scorse Deli was the best....freshly made baguettes and pasties! We hope to return one day for a longer stay.
